Whether you’ve got spring fever or you’re busy with spring cleaning, take a spring break with us to see why, as Shakespeare said, “sweet lovers love the spring”! Jennifer Eckes and Kevin Hohlstein will explore all the ways to fall in love, with some classic tunes that are sure to put a spring in your step!
Jennifer Eckes

Jennifer has been singing professionally in the Twin Cities area for over two decades, on stage in theatrical productions and as a concert soloist and cabaret artist.
Most recently, she was seen in the St. Croix Valley Opera’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza, as well as performing for their At Home concert in June 2020. She has performed with numerous local companies, notably the Ordway Center, Artistry Theater, Plymouth Playhouse, Skylark Opera Theatre, and the Minnesota Opera. A versatile vocalist, Eckes has found solo opportunities at venues such as the Bloomington Center for the Arts, Hastings Arts Center, Hanifl Performing Arts Center, Bryant-Lake Bowl, Honey Lounge, Crooners, and the Nicollet Island Inn.
Touted by reviewers for her “strong, lovely voice” and an “engaging gift for song”, Jennifer loves to tell the story of each song she sings in order to reach the audience on a personal level. She is thrilled to be a part of Cabaret Night coming soon to Brix Music Cafe!
