Minnesota based baritone Tony Potts is a two-time finalist at the international Lotte Lenya Competition. His recent portrayal of Marcello in Theater Latté Da’s production of La bohème was hailed in the Pioneer Press as having “not only swagger, charm and charisma, but a baritone voice that blends beautifully with the others on Puccini’s layered quartets.” Additionally, he has worked with Minnesota Opera, Minnesota Saints Chorale and Orchestra, Dallas Opera, Miami Music Festival, and local theaters.
Off the stage, Tony is a music educator and composer/arranger. He enjoys collaborating and working on new works with local musicians and singers. He holds both Bachelor’s (University of Northwestern, St. Paul) and Master’s (University of North Texas) degrees in Vocal Performance.
