Faculty Instructor

Dimitri is a Russian-Born actor, director, and theatre educator currently living in Southeast Missouri. An inaugural SVI Instructor, he is honored and excited to be returning for another year! He has been blessed with a professional performing career spanning several years and several states, including professional work in Florida, Washington, D.C., and Missouri. A well-seasoned director, he enjoys working with actors from a wide range of ages and skill levels on projects ranging from small community projects to large-scale musical productions. This past year, he began writing and workshopping his first full-length musical, The Curious Career of Mary Mallon, which tells the story of the woman who would be remembered by history as "Typhoid Mary". Dimitri holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theater performance from The Dobbins Conservatory at Southeast Missouri State University.
