Jennifer Eckes:
Jennifer Eckes has sung professionally for over two decades, in stage productions large and small, and as a soloist in concerts and cabaret shows. Based in St. Paul, she has performed in local theatrical productions with the Ordway Center, Artistry Theater, Plymouth Playhouse, Skylark Opera Theatre, the Minnesota Opera, and many others. An eclectic vocalist, she has found many musical revue and solo opportunities throughout the region, at venues including Bloomington Center for the Arts, Hastings Arts Center, Hanifl Performing Arts Center, Bryant-Lake Bowl, Honey Lounge, and the Nicollet Island Inn. Jennifer has a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Luther College, but found her passion for the Great American Songbook and cabaret as a fellow at the Cabaret Conference at Yale University in 2003 & 2007, and is a founding member of the Twin Cities Cabaret Artists Network. Her voice has been called "crystalline" and "rock solid" by reviewers, often praised for her warm stage presence and “plain-spoken charm”. Jennifer particularly loves telling the story of a well-written song, using humor and honesty to reach the audience on a personal level.

David Kozisek:
Before moving to Minnesota in 2013, David Kozisek appeared frequently at the Kennedy Center with the Washington National Opera, Washington Chorus, Washington Concert Opera, Cathedral Choral Society, and the National Symphony Orchestra among others. David has also performed with the Shakespeare Theatre Company and in various theatrical programs at Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Dr. Kozisek has a DMA in voice with an emphasis in choral conducting from the University of Minnesota and holds additional degrees from DePauw University and the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy. He is on faculty at Gustavus Adolphus College and the MacPhail Center for Music. Last fall, he created and directed the musical revue “Come On, Get Happy!” for the Cross Community Players. David is also the Director of Music and Worship at Hamline Church United Methodist where he conducts a variety of ensembles and curates and produces their Music and Arts Series including a recent production of “Amahl and the Night Visitors.” He is thrilled with the opportunity to perform with Jennifer and Adam.

Adam Baus

Adam Baus

Adam Baus recently celebrated being the music director at the Church of St. Rita Catholic Church in Cottage Grove the past 8 years. He enjoys orchestrating and arranging parts for 8 different music groups there. In that time, he has straddled the musician’s life and being a stay at home dad to his 3 children. Before he and his wife moved to St. Paul in 2015, Baus was an active pianist in the Milwaukee Theater Community and taught piano privately. He trains for marathons while his children are sleeping, and cuts paper snowflakes while the skies are white. (Instagram: St_Paul_Snowflakes)
