Jazz, opera, classical, R&B, bluegrass, and good ol’ rock’n’roll . . . you name it, bassist Greg Hippen has probably played it. A 40-year career as a freelance bassist in the Twin Cities area has encompassed performances with the Minnesota Opera, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, “A Prairie Home Companion”, VocalEssence, Theater Latte Da, and with Broadway musicals both at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis and the Ordway Theater in St. Paul.
