Erin Schwab is a Twin Cities native and has been working in the Twin Cities arts scene in Theater, Music, Television (Fox 9’s The Jason Show), for almost 25 years as well as Radio (MyTalk 107.1 FM), Educational Theater and as a host of many corporate, fundraising and political events.

Erin has been singing in the Twin Cities for over 25 years and is most well known for her long time cabaret collaboration with musical partner Jay Fuchs. She also has performed with bands like Twin Cities Hot Club, The Wolverines Jazz Trio and Metro Jam as well as pianists Lori Dokken, Dan Chouinard, Andrew Fleser and Raymond Berg.

You may also know Erin Schwab from The Jason Show on Fox 9, with host Jason Matheson, who refers to Erin as “the Bette Midler of the Twin Cities” and affectionately calls her Schwabberini. She has been the audience coordinator and contributor for the past 10 years and is now the “Here’s The Deal” Diva and official
fill-in for his co-host Falen.

Erin has acted in numerous productions throughout the Twin Cities - at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts including Mamma Mia (Rosie), Jesus Christ Superstar (King Herod), A Christmas Story (Miss Shields), as well as many of the Broadway Songbook Series shows. Erin has also worked with Theater Latte Da (Beautiful Thing, The Rink), The Guthrie Lab (Coward’s Women), The Catalysts (Orange is the New POTUS), and Hey City Theater (Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding). She has written and performed numerous Cabaret Shows across the Twin Cities including with The Capri Theater Legends Series (An Evening With The Divine Miss E and Judy, You Bette!) and has performed with The Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus. Erin has also hosted, emceed, and performed at many fundraising, corporate and political events across Minnesota.

Erin is a Director of Educational Theater for a number of local youth theater companies including ETC Productions, Erin’s theater company with creative partner Emily Villano. They just completed their 5th Twin Cities Summer Tour this year, Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. This tour performed over 44 shows, offering accessible theater for young people, families and communities across the Twin Cities. ETC also offers Theater Play and Educational Theater classes through Apple Valley High School and ISD196 Community Ed for grades K-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-9th. Erin is currently in her 6th year as the Director of the Apple Valley High School Fall Musical and Spring Play and this year for the first time- the MSHSL One Act Competition Show. She is also back for her 5th year directing the musical at Moreland and Garlough Elementary in West St. Paul. Other programs Erin has worked with include- Lakeshore Players Theatre (The Addams Family Musical-Young@Part, Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr! Summer Tour), Steppingstone Theatre (Junie B. Jones: the Musical, Jr., Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.) and Stages Theatre Company (Alice in Wonderland Kids, Annie Jr., and Lion King Kids).

Erin lives in West St. Paul, Mn with her two dogs and is so proud of her 21 year old, Sophie, who is in their Senior year at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.
