Summer Vocal Institute Student Concert

Come see the debut of the next generation of emerging singers perform on June 17, 2022! This end of session showcase will future students for the inaugural Summer Vocal Institute. The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin serves as the host for SVI week. 

About the Program:
St. Croix Valley Opera's Summer Vocal Institute is a one-week performing arts intensive designed to give emerging vocal professionals in the region a chance to receive quality instruction not only in voice technique but also in performance and other necessary skills for a career in the performing arts. At the end of the Institute, students will walk away with the tools, techniques, and knowledge they need to be well-rounded both as performers and as professionals in the performing arts.

Obed Floan, SCVO’s Executive Director shares: “As a result of their involvement in the SVI, these emerging professional singers will be set apart from their peers by this insider training from some of the industry's best. This experience will be foundational to their growth and success as a professional vocal performer.”
