Baritone

Baritone Alex Ritchie is a singer and voice teacher active throughout Minnesota, mostly recently performing in A Little Night Music with Lyric Opera of the North. Other appearances include Minnesota Opera, Skylark Opera Theatre, Mill City Summer Opera, An Opera Theatre, Source Song Festival, and the Saint Cloud Symphony Orchestra. Concert appearances include Brahms’s Ein deutsches Requiem, Fauré’s Requiem, and Vaughan Williams’s Serenade to Music with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Ritchie was selected for the 2025 cohort of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Intern Program, and he has taught voice and musical theatre at K&S Conservatory, Stillwater Area High School, and International Music Camp. He received his DMA from the University of Minnesota, where he served as graduate instructor for University Opera Theatre, and he now serves as Saint Croix Valley Opera’s director of education.
