Anthony Potts (MFATLPFK 2026)
Baritone
Minnesota-based baritone Tony Potts has been described by the Pioneer Press as having “not only swagger, charm and charisma, but a baritone voice that blends beautifully...” He has worked with companies such as Minnesota Opera, Dallas Opera, Skylark Opera Theater, and Theater Latté Da. Recent roles include Lt. Gordon in Opera Orlando’s production of Silent Night, Nick Shadow in the NDSU Challey School of Music Chamber Festival production of The Rake’s Progress, Squire in Libby Larsen’s The Silver Fox with Schubert Club, Harold Hill in The Music Man at Lyric Arts, and the baritone soloist in Loyce Houlton’s Carmina Burana with the Minnesota Dance Theater. Tony is a two-time finalist at the international Lotte Lenya Competition and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Vocal Performance from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, and the University of North Texas, respectively.
